Course Description

Climate and Life (Geog 152) provides an overview of extraterrestrial, atmospheric, and land-surface processes that control and characterize our climatic environment.  Emphasis is placed on the principles and importance of climate science, as well as on significant relationships with vegetation and the built environment.  The influence of climate on humans and vice versa represents another important theme.
